    I don't think it looks like him. Plus, didn't he grow up in California, not Detroit? You never know, but I doubt it...

    phew, i read somewhere that was his original name... i was searching for him on the net... but that Gerry guy is sure cute... BUT not as cute as Harlemm of course, ... that is if they're totally different people

    I compared the two pictures and they show a strong resemblance, but I am not sure.

    "Fame" (8 p.m., WDIV-TV, Channel 4, NBC). Older than he looks. Former Detroiter Harlemm Lee, a singer known by his real name of Gerry Woo when he graduated from Troy Athens High School in 1985, is one of 12 finalists who perform in a special, two-hour edition of Debbie Allen's summertime talent search. Though "Fame" specified no age limit for contestants, Lee told producers he was 27. They recently discovered he's actually 35. Oops. "We're disappointed someone would lie about his age," a "Fame" spokesman said, "but we don't think it's something that should preclude him from participating." Lee's age fib will be mentioned tonight. And that might influence how viewers vote at home.

    Well it is him after all. Hope this does not stop him from progressing on Fame. He has a lot of talent and deserves to move on and I believe he will.

    Out of all the others he stands out the most and is unique.

    I found two songs of him singing (back in the 80s ) and he sounds really good - You can tell it's him... If anyone wants a copy, let me know and I can e-mail them to you...
