The "Fame" series chronicles Debbie Allen's attempts to recruit multi-talented performers (ages 16 and up) from across the country, followed by an intense "boot camp" drill by Allen. The 24 semi-finalists performed solo and group routines in front of host Joey Fatone, celebrity panelists Carnie Wilson, music mogul Johnny Wright and top radio personality JoJo Wright, as well as their family and friends.

Viewers at home will now determine who, among the 12 finalists, will receive all the deals and connections needed to make it in the entertainment business - a “fastlane to fame.” These include: a guarantee that the winner record a single under Johnny Wright, President of The Wright Entertainment Group’s record label Wire Records, one year of training at The Debbie Allen Dance Academy, a stylish suite for one calendar year at The W Hotel in Westwood and career guidance from a top Hollywood agency.

"Fame" is produced by MGM Television Entertainment and Stone Stanley Entertainment with David G. Stanley, Scott A. Stone and multiple Emmy-Award winner Jeff Margolis serving as executive producers.

I wonder if they'll cut just one person tonight...

Also, it seems that the additional contestant from the viewing public will be tossed in later as the deadline for submissions has not yet passed???

    Strange.

I was under the impression that they were cutting two people tonight, but I don't know, because it appears that they don't have too many episodes planned.
