Bye, bye Latin Persuasion!
Bye, bye Latin Persuasion!
Wandering around the desert in the dark? How scary!!
The Latin ladies almost did it - imagine their arguments on the way home. I kind of wish they'd still be there, if only for seeing them bicker and experience new things. It definitely was an experience for them.
Previews show they're dealing with horses next - as opposed to camels, that might be better! I like the concept of teams of three; it adds a whole different aspect and dynamic than duos like on Amazing Race. Very interesting show - I like it. I wish this premiere would've been two hours though - it went so fast.
I like the show! However, with that said I would probably be done before I even got up the sand hill and if not then, the cliff would have been the end for me. So glad that Team Grandpa isn't out just because I don't like to listen to bickering.
I enjoyed it, especially the penalty for counting wrong even though it hurt one of the teams that I like, No Limits. Sometimes in TAR when they have to count something, they don't lose much time counting again.

This was fun! I think one of the first things they should do is implement the "you can't use what someone else already did" rule ;-) (It so wasn't fair for the football players to leave as fast as they did after the Fab 3 did all the work.)
Other than that, I loved the challenges. I would have been out just trying to get up the sand dune :-)
Hmm if I was on the challenge as soon as I saw those sand dunes I would have been done.lol If the sand didn't kill me ,listening to those 3 ladies bicker incessantly would have, lol.

So it looks like everyone starts at the same time for the next leg, not like TAR where it's based on when you finished?
I liked this show. Yes, its similiar to TAR but I liked it.
Yikes, that heat and those camels … not a fun combination.
Combine TAR with Survivor and you have a good summer show. I couldn't believe the Mississippi boys were complaining about the heat until I remembered they are used to humid heat, not dry desert heat. I really like the teams of three rather than two, especially in this environment. Speaking of...I mean climb a sand mountain, travel by camel, search for water, rappel down a steep cliff, get sort of close to cobra snakes (Yikes!) and finally make it to a rug outside a tent in the cold of a desert night. Good Stuff.
I really like the host - not too smarmy, not too dull...just right, so far.
