Wayne and his "advisers" (I forget their names) concluded that Sarah just doesn't have the experience to carry a show for an hour and a half. Wayne told her he wouldn't be a friend or a gentleman if he let her continue. It was all done very gracefully.

Jenn was a little shaky at first...but nailed "preacher's son." Very nice! Dave was awesome.... it's much tougher being a comedian having to truly engage the audience I think - and he did great. So far, Delisco's opening was very good. But the commercial tease is leading you to think something isn't going to go his way....

I'm rooting for Dave.... but I wonder if they'll (Wayne & Group) be enamored with the way Delisco works the crowd?

Delisco had the crowd, but, unless there was some other transition pieces intervening, this second song for Grandma was way too radical a gear shift for his show to flow well.
