Likewise, Wayne's comments toward Dave, as those comments directed at Jennifer, have always included more superlatives for Dave than the comments to Delisco.
    Hi all!

just want to say that I'm not sure I agree that Dave has been better received and/or complimented by Wayne than Delisco has. It's much easier to see an audiences response to a comedian, either they laugh or they don't. With a singer, the audience reaction/connection can be anything, happy, sad, dancing, clapping, whatever, depending upon the song the singer is performing. I have to say that in this last episode everyone thought that the girls were going to be the most well received - and I think it was the guys that got the most response this time around! Those soldiers were movin' and groovin' while Delisco was singing, way more than when Jennifer or Sarah were singing (perhaps due to song choice, I admit...but even so). And I find it interesting that Delisco has never been on a losing team either. He and Jennifer are the only two, I think, that can claim that. One last comment, as a singer myself, one thing I have always been told is that no matter what the circumstances, NEVER admit to the audience that you are not feeling up to par. The audience automatically starts listening for flaws, and judges see that as an excuse for what you as the performer think might be a weak performance. Jennifer has at least twice, mentioned that she was not "in good voice" as we say in the business... Just an observation about something that was bothering me. Hey, that's the only criticism I can come up with for that Sexy Diva, though! What a pro. I still think Delisco is gonna walk with the prize, though...He has been consistant and professional at all times! And do you hear the notes that boy can hit?!?!? My predictions:

    1. Delisco
    2. Jennifer
    3. Dave/Joe (thought Dave, but not sure after last episode...)
    4. Sarah

I can't wait to find out.........

No I think you mis-understand what I'm saying, last night was entertaining at least for me. The challange was to entertain the troops.

BTW, for what it's worth I know I have posted some things that some cast members probably didn't like.

One thing about Mark Burnett (people either love him or hate him) he certainly has the recipe for reality show success well understood. This is definitely a show on it's own track, which is fine, but TPTB just don't seem to know themselves where they are headed. At times it feels like a train lumbering down the tracks without an engineer.

I think the competitors who are left are all talented people. I still think that Sarah, as lovely as she is, is just not ready to be a headliner Vegas performer. I know the sound wasn't up to snuff due to the circumstances of the show last night, but Sarah seemed to be harder to hear than any of the others. She just doesn't seem to have power behind her voice. She'd be better in a studio, or small stage, I think. I thought Delisco and Jennifer did great, with Jennifer definitely being the best (again). I thought Dave's running on stage was underhanded, and although I think his act is funnier than Joe's, I wanted him to get the big boot because of it. I think Joe is extremely funny, it just seems like his act is getting stale, and I'm not sure how easy it is for him to keep inventing new things? Maybe it's not tough, what do I know? It just seems like we've already seen everything he does...maybe it's the editing?

Here's my prediction with the winner being number 1:

    1. Jennifer
    2. Dave or Delisco (can't decide )
    3. Joe
    4. Sarah

I like them all, though, and would love to see all of them succeed, make millions of bucks, and them remember us little people.

The only thing I can disagree with you about Mark Burnett is, he did have one disaster in "the Casino' on Fox. I was really disapointed that show didn't do ebtter,

You have misunderstood my post. I did not say these men were not talented. I said they are not funny, TO ME. I did not mean to insinuate anyone was dishonest. My thought is that there are probably others who share my opinion who are not posting at all. I do admit my wording could have been misleading.

On the American Idol threads everyone freely says who's style they like and whose they don't. They go much further than that too! I am being respectful. This board allows us to post our opinions on the shows and contestants. It is in the forum rules.

And, again, I doubt either Joe or Dave, who I think are nifty people, expect to appeal to everyone. You just can't be a professional entertainer without this basic knowledge.

I loved tonight's show. It's unfortunate that people can't even appreciate a little what the troops do for us and are offended at the drop of a hat. They were just out there entertaining them, not making a political statement. Sheesh....

Aaahhh...I never saw The Casino, so it didn't register in my feeble brain...thanks for the refresher.

Everyone else, let's remember to get along with each other, and snark about the contestants or Wayne, not each other.

As far as what is entertaining...this is why the world is full of entertainers. Everyone has their own definition of what they find entertaining. My favorite bit of entertainment is waiting to see if Wayne's hair will blow in the wind.
Love The Bachelor? Catch the recap for this season's sacrificial lamb lucky guy here in Episode 1, Episode 2, Episode 3, Episode 4, Episode 5, Episode 6 and Episode 7.

rosekid Waynes hair is a major source of my enjoyment as well. It is also fascinating to compare a picture of him now with when he was popular as a teen. They look like they could be from different ethnic backgrounds!
