    David Duchovny's Voice

I want to state I'm a HUGE fan of Eco-Challenge but...

Is anyone else being lulled to sleep by David Duchovny's voice?

    Bring back Alan Rickman!

I saw last season's Eco-Challenge, but I don't remember the voice of that guy.

David Duchovny's voice sounds monotone. I don't know if he was told to keep a serious tone, but his voice does sound a little bit boring.

I so totally agree with you, DD.

First of all, I taped Eco-Challenge, because there was just too much going on tonight. However, I did see the opening credits and heard the drone of David's voice and some of the pleasure of the program has been taken away as far as I'm concerned.

was Rickman the narrator last time? I like him. Duchovny is ok but a bit soft.

I just put his voice in the sexy voice thread in general after watching EC last night....

Wasn't Holly Hunter the narrator last time? Duchovny sounds bored, allright.

Yep, it was Holly Hunter for the New Zealand race.

I hated David Duchovny's narration. Every time he started talking, I thought to myself "they couldn't find ANYONE else?"

Are you kidding?? LOL I was thrillled! X-Files/Star Wars/Reality TV....AND THE ECOCHALLENGE all wrapped up in ONE! Actually, though, his voice did lull me to sleep. I missed the last 10 minutes of the show.

My wife and I were pretty bored with his delivery. Holly Hunter did a great job last year.
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey
