I can't believe how non talented some of this season's designers are... Here are some of my "I can't believe they thought that would look good - REALLY???" moments from this year (many from this week)
1) A blueberry bathroom? With a blueberry ceiling too?? AND a blueberry door?? They would not have been able to find the exit!!
2) Drop cloth curtains in an upscale "Trump" apartment?
3) Taxi under glass.
4) Flat bed without a mattress.
5) Braille cork board art
6) Wood Panelling
7) A recliner against a wall

Please feel free to add to this list!
Do the designs seem to keep getting worse to anyone else?

I'm definitely not a designer, but I'm sure that most of the people on this forum could have done a better/more creative job than some of these people.

Did anyone watch Top Design on Bravo? That was a decent design show. I don't know if it's on hiatus or canceled, but Design Star could take some pointers from that show!

Yes, I watched 2 seasons of Top Design... not sure if it will be on this summer or not. I liked that they had big"ish" budgets to purchase great furniture and accessories. I think Eddie (don't know his last name) who worked for Martha Stewart was on that show... I've seen him pop up on a couple HGTV specials lately...

How does that work? So the final winner does get a real TV show and the others get internet shows?

The viewers vote which of the eliminated contestants gets the internet show.
