    I much prefer Dan's calm demeanor and even his giggling over Antonio's brash in-your-face style.

    I was extremely disappointed when Dan didn't win this competition. I much preferred his sense of style and on air persona over Antonio.

    It seems to me HGTV was looking for a Guy Fieri (sp?) (The Food Network) type personality for their network and Antonio fit the mold perfectly.

    I wish both Dan and Antonio well.

    It has FINALLY occurred to me who Dan reminds me of . . . . oddly enough, it's another guy named DAN. Would have thought that would have made it easier!

    Dan Futterman (Judging Amy, Will & Grace, A Mighty Heart, etc.........)

    It was good of them to leave the online voting open two extra days <slight bit of sarcasm> so Dan fans who thought he was going to win and didn't vote for him had the chance.

    I am thrilled he won't be assigned to obscurity; and while he won't be on national TV, at least he'll be on an international website.

    This gives him continued exposure and the chance to work on his hosting skills. Good for him.
