She should have gotten nines last night, IMO.

No, her dancing was not worth 9's last night although I agree it was probably the best she's done.

Her personality doesn't bother me; that's not what I'm judging.

I am thrilled that Marissa and Tony will be dancing again next week.

And I do feel that her dancing was worth nines this week.

Cannot stand this woman. Waaay to over the top with the cutsy pie bubbly stuff. I so wanted her to be gone instead of Pricilla. Pricilla at least had class. This person I just want to fast forward through so I don't have to watch. Too bad, because Tony has always been one of my favorite pros. I was disappointed that adorable Christian was second from the bottom instead of this Marissa. (But, I do agree, I also noticed that she was a bit slimmer).

I just think they finally costumed her better. They've put in costumes that have accentuated her size instead of minimizing it until this week.
she actually looks great in the rehearsals, but then on show nights, she looks HUGE! It's the outfits. I am a larger woman and I know that somethings look much better on me than others. And the costumers need to stop putting her in the hideious stuff.

When Tia Carrere was on DWTS, she started out rather large after having just given birth and they costumers did really well with her. I think she ended up losing something like 40 pounds during the course of the show, but she was good size when it started and they didn't put her in the hideous dresses they've dressed Marissa in.

hahahaha I want to fast forward and I could if I want to cause I download the shows and watch them on my computer with Windows Media player.
They did give her too much points . yes she was a bit less bad but come on.

I am sorry to see Pricilla go but she was not good during the last show, but she has been great before. I cannot say that from Marissa.

Re: Marissa Jaret Winokur & Tony Dovolani - Season 6

Actually Marissa said in an interview that SHE tells the wardrobe people to dress her in short things to show a lot of skin.

It’s not her weight that’s the problem IMO. She has a game going – the constant remarks about not being a size 2, the crying meltdown, the mugging/grinning with open mouth, begging for votes (not just backstage with Samantha, but everywhere – including Lucy Lawless’ website), telling how she runs home and votes for herself under various email accounts. The “love me, I’m so adorable and bubbly” is nauseating.

The latest news is that she’s gonna get her own talk show, which will most likely go the same direction as Megan Mullaly’s – off the air. Marissa would do all the talking – or I should say squeeling.

But because of her weight it’s easy for so many average people to identify with her. They love the plucky underdog tortoise who just might win the trophy. That will be a shame because much better dancers have been eliminated already.

I'm not in agreement that much better dancers have already been eliminated. Who was better? Monica? Penn? Steve? Adam? Maybe Priscilla, but even that's questionable. I think if she were to be eliminated next week she would be going at just the right time based on her abilities. Even if she held on one more week, I don't think she'd be overstaying her welcome based on her dancing.

Steve was better. Adam was better. Priscilla was definitely better - a lot better. The "right time" for Marissa to go was right after Penn and Monica.

It's unfortunate you disagree, but that is just the way it will have to be.

You can go to abc.com, the DTWS and watch the shows again at noon the day.

Yes, her scores have been too high. Since the mean judges gave her 6-7-6 (more than she deserved), they have been giving Marissa a group tonguebath.

Re: Marissa Jaret Winokur & Tony Dovolani - Season 6

I think part of her problem is the Broadway persona that teaches you to make your expressions so that the back of the auditorium/theatre can see you. She hasn't been able to turn that off, so it looks like she's mugging for the camera (since cameras are EVERYwhere!) all the time. She's been average on dancing, and is definitely improving ... but I really dislike her cry-baby persona. For someone who has probably seen a bad review or three in her time, she sure takes criticism poorly.
