I really like Marlee and I think she is amazing. last week when I realised she was deaf and then watched her dance I was in awe.

Really like her partner too Fabian is a perfect match for her.

This week again she did a great job. respect!

Re: Marlee Matlin & Fabian Sanchez - Season 6

Even tho Marlee is deaf, she is well coordinated and has "danceability". Unlike Monica Seles and some others from previous seasons, she has rhythm and her body responds well to the moves of ballroom dancing. That is more than half the battle. Some people can dance and some people really do seem to have two left feet.

I am absolutely loving Fabian! I am really, really impressed by his positive demeanor in working with Marlee and her interpretor. And, of course, Marlee is doing great.

Me, too!

I was wondering how she'd do with the New Guy on the Block . . . If he would be sensitive to her realities and work with her.

He has.

I think he's great, and I hope he comes back next season!

I agree. Fabian is very supportive, is a good teacher and choreosgrapher, and seems to be having fun with the process. I hope he returns.

As I was watching last night I thought that their dance was amazing. I was kind of thrown off when i thought I heard him call her a bitch while practicing. I absolutely depise that guy.

I think Fabian has done an amazing job working with Marlee. He certainly was given a challenge for his first season on DWTS. He seems like a really sweet, great guy.

I just listened to a Youtube copy of their segment.
He says, EXACTLY, "I'm talkin' bitch, you can't hear me". But its a part of the segment about them getting fed up with each other during practice (and I think its been established that Marlee can be pretty stubborn and strong willed) so it kind of makes sense. He pretty much said it in anger, without much thought, and I suppose it comes under the heading of "extra frustration due to Marlee being deaf". I mean, I bet their practice sessions are REALLY freaking long.

Re: Marlee Matlin & Fabian Sanchez - Season 6

I thought Marlee was underscored last night. Her timing was not so off that it distracted from the effect of the dance. She looked a little demoralized by the judges remarks after the dance. I think she worked very hard this week. I hope she sticks around. I still like watching her a lot.
