Rocco c.a.n.n.o.t. dance!

He is a nice guy who needs to go home with his mother.

Cloris can't dance either, if her jive wasn't proof enough of that (along with her foxtrot, tango, and mambo). ABC has made her out to be a joke. Rocco at least seems to try and I'd rather deal with that than someone who has to rely solely on theatrics and butting into someone else's camera time for the rest of the competition.

I still say that Cloris is not competing with anyone else in this competition, but Rocco is. Cloris's dance tonight was commendable, but Rocco's wasn't. Cloris is over the top, but she is in a league all by herself, like that little boy, Cody, should be.

I look at it completely different-just because she may be the oldest there and not the most in shape doesn't mean she's not competing with anyone else or gets a free pass just because she doesn't stand a shot in the end (god willing). It's depressing when people like Brooke, Cody, Warren, or Toni start going home but she's still there just because she's not in the same league as them. Same with Marissa last season, and Marie the season before. Though I'd rank those girls way ahead of Cloris.

Cloris showed real improvement tonight, but too little too late, in my opinion. She SHOULD go, but Rocco probably WILL go. He's not very good, either, but he's usually better than Cloris. He needs to shorten his steps to look more sophisticated.

The samba was not Warren's dance! Tonight was possibly his worst performance ever.

I loved both Brooke and Lance. They'll make it to the top of this thing!

Re: 10/13 Show Discussion **spoilers**

I rewatched Susan and Tony's dance-- VERY easy in my opinion. Everyone else who danced put in twice the amount of work. She's always overrated by the judges, kind of like they're mesmerized by the 1000 watt smile or something! At least she stayed in character in the dance this time and didn't smile at the audience and judges as she performed. Always makes me think I'm watching a Miss America talent show when she's on camera-- or anywhere NEAR camera! I'm afraid after Cloris finally goes we'll have Susan around to the end because of her HUGE fan base from All MY Children and QVC. Marie Osmond anyone?

Susan is definitely overrated by the judges. Maybe their bias this year is to get an older, non athlete to win. The dances she's had have either been very slow paced or the choreography has been extremely easy. I'm surprised they aren't overscoring her, but I've found her to be very boring and forgettable. At least there's Tony to look at.

That show last night was just bizarre, from the scoring to the comments.

I think the odd thing about that is that in the past, the judges have slammed Tony for giving his partners such painfully easy and boring choreography. Why doesn't that bother them this time? Do they just think Susan can't handle it and others could?

Re: 10/13 Show Discussion **spoilers**

I liked Lance and Lacey. This is how they should be doing it. I thought they combined their edgy originality with a traditional, proper tango. Even crotchety old Len couldn't criticize it. Maybe they have finally found the proper balance. Lance has too much potential to lose it because his partner is pushing the envelope in all the wrong ways.

Brooke and Derek did the best samba of the night. But I do think they have to be careful here. I know Derek wants to push her because he realizes that she is a natural dancer, but they should lay off the gimmicks and silly stuff and stick to perfecting their technique. Brooke knows how to shake it and play the wild diva in the samba. She was definitely feeling it. For some reason this was not my favorite of all their dances. Maybe they have set the bar so high. Or maybe it was a little too much raunch and not enough pure samba. But they haven't had a bad performance yet.

I thought Susan Lucci gave her best performance yet. That may not be saying much, but at least she got the feel of the tango. Tony did give her easy choreography, but he may be trying to build up her confidence. She channeled Erika Kane and it worked. I am still not loving her, though. She has a ways to go.

Warren really did not do a good samba. You have to really shake your hips and feel it. He just did not seem all that comfortable. He is the consummate showman, so the entertainment factor was there. The man just has charisma to spare and can connect with the audience. But he was sloppy and didn't really do the proper samba steps. I still love to watch him. He needs to work on his footwork.

Toni and Alec did not do a good samba. There wasn't much difficulty in the choreography. If you compare Toni and Brooke, you will see the difference. Toni did not look like she was feeling it. If you can't get into the spirit of the samba, then it just will not work.

I think Rocco needs to go. He simply can't dance. I have to agree with Bruno - no sense of the music at all. He can't keep the beat and seems lost.

Cloris finally decided to actually dance! Wow! What a concept! For the first three weeks she has been clowning it up. She certainly did a decent tango, but I think she was overscored. I kind of thought the judges might do that, given the fact that she was so much better. But I would be totally happy if she goes tonight. At least she can go out on a high note. If she stays and has to do two dances, it's going to get ugly.

Julianne and Cody did a great tango. He is starting to really get the hang of this. I was pleased to see him hold the posture and frame and be disciplined enough for this dance. I see some real potential in him.

I can see this competition shaping up as a race between Brooke, Lance, Warren and maybe Cody and Toni.

I didn't think Toni Braxton did well at all.

Thought Cloris and Susan did well.

Rocco, nice guy but cannot dance.
