    Judge: Len Goodman

Len has been the very popular head judge on both seasons of Strictly Come Dancing - the original UK version of Dancing With The Stars. He always manages to find something positive in every performance, and has the great skill of making even the harshest criticism come across as well meaning, constructive and amusing. He's warm, direct and king of the one-liners.

Len has been dancing all his adult life and specialized in a form of ballroom dancing called "exhibition dancing." Exhibition dancing is all about the lifts! Len was also a dance teacher and is now a professional judge. His work has taken him all over the world. He has won numerous awards including the Carl Allen award, the British Rising Star award and the Life Acheivement award. Len has been the British Exhibition dance champion three or four times (he can't remember!), and was runner up in the Exhibition World Championships.

Most dancers' natural progression is to become a judge and put something back into the world of dancing. Len is now an extremely experienced judge and is a regular at the world championships and the British championships.

Len is more concerned with performance than technique and will be paying more attention to the celebrities than the professional dancers. He will be looking out for good interaction between the couple. Len does not want to see any nerves surfacing on performance night.

    What was that about...

Thursday he tells Jerry he's the worst, and last night he says Jerry is the best. What the heck was that about?? How 2-faced...

Len, we CAN remember that far back, it was only a day before that you said it, and many of us tape the show. How hypocritical...

He really flatulated around that subject...
