that was enjoyable.
Emmit has charisma.
Emmitt's not doing too bad... he doesn't look awkward like some of our former athletes. I'll give him a vote or two!

Alright.... I just got in my 10 votes online.
I think Cheryl is the most enjoyable of the women dancers to watch.
Sara was dancing very deliberately. I think the judges were trying to tell her to relax. Dancing is more than just the steps. Watch Cheryl. Last week she talked about this contest being just one more thing in an already busy schedule. I don't think people should sign on to this show, if they can't devote their full attention to it as though it were their only job outside the home.
Emmett is fun to watch and is surprisingly light on his feet. Don't call him twinkletoes.
Joey was by far the best. I loved it. I thought I was watching a movie, and you could tell he was truly enjoying it.
The only mamba I enjoyed was Willa's. It was fast and furious, and it helped that the band didn't completely mangle the song. Vivica's was okay, though, but I think she did better last week. Monique was okay, but I've seen the song performed in HSM and I have to tell you, it pales in comparison. Sara loosened up, but I wouldn't mind if she or Shanna went home. I like both of them, but they just aren't up to par.
Emmitt did well, but you can tell he's not as into the quickstep as he is the Latin dances. Jerry's was funny, but weak. He's doing good for his age. Harry's still a bit stiff, but he's improving. Mario's entertaining, and I thought the judges couldn't been a bit easier on them.
Why is it boys talk so much, when they have nothing to say? And girls have plenty to say, but no one will listen?
Now here's my analysis of the performances tonight.
Willa/Maksim: Their mambo was the most entertaining one tonight and I'll be shocked if they end up in the bottom two once again. I don't think Willa/Maksim deserve to be sent home yet since they do show a great deal of potential so I'll be voting for them. Besides, they were the first couple performing tonight so they really had the pressure on them. BTW, is it just me or does Carrie Ann Inaba have something against Willa?
Harry/Ashly: A major improvement from last week, but I'm still not impressed with them. Harry's wife is way better at dancing than he is. On the bright side, at least Harry makes a strong effort unlike Master P from last season.
Monique/Louis: This is one of the times where I didn't really agree with the high scores that the judges gave them. I didn't see genuine chemistry there. The chemistry appears to have been forced and not natural. Monique was like a "cold fish" when it came to the chemistry part and Louis was obviously trying too hard to maintain chemistry there. Worse yet, that song from "High School Musical" was totally lame.
Mario/Karina: I really hate to say this. but I was totally disappointed by Mario's performance tonight. I won't be voting for him because there was no excuse for such a screw-up like that.
Shanna/Jesse: Their mambo was the least entertaining of all. The only thing I saw of Shanna that was making the most movement was her dress and not her legs. It appeared like she wasn't putting much effort into it. She should've received a lower score by the judges than she actually got. If there's any justice on this show, Shanna will be sent home tomorrow.
Jerry/Kym: Their dancing wasn't all that good. However, their quick step was way more entertaining than the mambo that Shanna/Jesse did. Furthermore, Jerry's fan base will most likely keep him around for another week, even though he's not that good of a dancer.
Vivica/Nick: Vivica didn't dance as well this week like she did last week. There wasn't much movement with her legs during the mambo, yet the judges decided to give her a break. Still, I like Vivica's attitude and hope that she also sticks around a bit.
Joey/Edyta: I liked their performance the most tonight and they deserved the high scores from the judges. This week was definitely their week to shine. I hope they can keep this up in the weeks to come.
Sara/Tony: A slight improvement from last week, but still not enough to impress me. If I were in Sara's place I would be very eager to work harder in order to please the judges. Instead, Sara decides to do the extremely discretionary dance and that isn't a good way to earn the good graces of the judges. I have nothing against Sara, but I think she's better off back in the country music world.
Emmitt/Cheryl: I'm rather peeved that Monique/Louis received an undeserved higher score than Emmitt/Cheryl because E/C were more entertaining than they were. Still, their dancing wasn't as awesome as Joey/Edyta this week. However, I really think that Emmitt could win this season if he really steps it up.
Now here are the ones I would like to see in the bottom three tomorrow:
Sara or Jerry
Monique or Mario (I'm still disappointed by his performance tonight because I expected better from him)
I don't want to see anyone else to wind up in the bottom three (unlike the names I've mentioned) because they really worked hard this week.
First, why did Shanna have porn star/stripper expressions on her face when she danced tonight? I don't recall them saying this was lapdance night.
Second, Jerry has been a pleasant surprise. He actually seems like a really nice guy, and is surprisingly funny!
So, I wasn't feeling up to my MissThing standards last night. Between Sara and Emmitt, I decided to recline on the sofa. Woke up at 3 AM with the TV still on, but I never saw a lick of Emmitt's performance . Now, I'm not sure how to vote!
