    I think they do that a lot because it's hard to come up with something spur of the moment. I seem to recall folks talking about doing that during rehearsals.

    I can see where that could happen if you'd seen rehearsals--that you might be looking more closely at certain things--but I thought Julianne expressed it weirdly. She made it sound like she had prepared comments before seeing the dance, and honestly, sometimes people rise to the occasion or lose it suddenly in the actual performance, so you really aren't going to know what happens until it does.

    It just seemed strange to announce that you'd thought of comments you might make prior to the performance, because the last thing you'd want to do is give the impression, even erroneously, that you were pre-judging.
