Aly got 21 for her first dance, which is not far off from Elizabeth's 24, considering Aly came with no previous dancing experience.

Not in my opinion. Remember this conversation started out with me agreeing that if someone like Elizabeth shows passion that will come out on the floor and they will get to stay, and I used Aly and Pamela's passion (or lack thereof) as an example. Aly showed passion. The girl was driven! I'm not so sure I am seeing Leah pushing herself. I know it's somewhere inside of her, but she appeared to be holding back.

I got the feeling that Leah is very unconfident.

Okay, so back to Elizabeth and Val, anyone know what they're dancing tonight?

I'm excited to see what they bring to the table!

I think they're dancing the samba.

    I hope they kill it!

What I got from Elizabeth is that she loves to dance. If that is in her, it is going to come out. Given natural ability which we saw indicated last week, all else will pale to the drive to dance. I see a little lack of confidence in this whole process as a good thing. In my opinion, someone who goes into this without any background in ballroom dance too full of confidence might well be setting him or herself up for a bit of a fall. That just might be setting one's expectations just a little too high.

Leah and Valarie showed passion, but like Aly the dancing wasn't that great. Aly was astonishing ungraceful for the entire season, but she did have a drive.

I also hope they do well, with all the media hyped people on this show her dancing will have to speak for itself.

We need to see a little chemistry between the two of them, I don't mean hang all over him -I mean when they are dancing, I haven't seen zip. Even when interviewed, he was sort of dismissive of her. I guess we will see tonight. This could be this season shocking elimination
