He/they are in the groove at the moment so I really don't have a problem with it as long as they are both on board.
Yes, Bloomers responded to my post..I wanted to respond to her but i couldn't find it again.

The fact that there will only be one show puts a totally different slant on my response. Seems as if he wanted to be on the show he didn't have much of choice.

    Sounds good to me!

His fantastic attitude will help him get over the "Never Danced Before!" hump.

And we all know he's no serious MBT contender, but it will be a pleasure to see him stretch and grow as far as he possibly can.

I think I may have said this before ... I know I certainly thought it.
Rhythm, footwork, grace atc. ... or lack thereof ... have been mentioned with regard to Sean but I do not see any (non-pro) male who is heads and shoulders above and better than Sean. He needs a week or two, I think.

Did someone say he has the jive next? Ouch! That seems a tad difficult at this point because it's fast. Maybe if they keep it a little bit simple it might be okay for him.

I am not sure I understand the reasoning behind assigning the jive on the 2nd week in this show unless the contestant is one of those ringers who comes into the show with an evident dance background in place ( cough, cough Mya who helped choreographed her own dances) who can even begin to handle a dance that requires that kind of speed, energy, control, flair, personality, and even memory! That is a lot different than gliding across the floor in a waltz or even trying to shake it and move your feet and hips in a cha-cha which can be made easier by a good choreographer.

I've never understood why they dropped the format of everyone dancing in just one of two or so styles per week in favor of these weekly hodge podges. These random style assignments give us the sad spectacle of someone like Sean who is just learning to dance trying to attempt an advanced style like the jive in week two. Makes no sense to me.

If you missed the Jimmy Kimmel interview, it's worth watching. Sean was funny and a bit endearing. (And a good sport.) He and Peta are in a challenge with Derek and Kellie for the goofiest picture. He said he feels like he and Peta have a "brother & sister" type relationship. It was fun to watch and he answered some questions that some of you may have about his personal life.

I did see it!!I am so glad they are all having fun( not just Sean and Peta) all the other teams, we never get to see much of that. Derek and Kellie, I would love to have seen their photos as well. I imagine that breaks up any tension they have from practicing.

Considering so many marriages end in divorce and relationships go belly up over finances, any smart person would be remiss to not take advantage of these types of opportunities. Relationships and marriages don't survive solely on love alone. It's easy to get all caught up in the romanticism of Sean and Catherine finding love with each other and to want them to go off into the sunset all googley-eyed in love with each other, but at the end of the day, love ain't gonna pay the bills. And I'm sure Sean and Catherine are spending quality time together whenever their schedules permit.

Taking steps to secure a comfortable future together by using his fifteen minutes of fame to seize opportunities like DWTS can serve them and any future children well in the long run.

I agree with most of what you said and i am probally the most skeptical about this being a "forever" process to be begin with. However, Bloomers brought it to my attention that there will only be one show of DWTS instead of the normal two shows. This being the case, Sean did not have a choice to dance at a later date. You are right, you have to do what you have to do when the time is right.

We see the male stars standing still while the professional spins, leaps, jumps and moves! Sean will stand there and be the anchor for his partner. Just watch. The women stars have the biggest burden of performing.
