Debb, I think when she hits the stage for the live performances, she gets spooked, nervous and freezes.

And, being a musician and not being able to translate that to dancing?

It DOES happen. Believe me. I've seen it live and in living color twice.

Makes not a LICK of sense, but that DOES happen.

Her musical performances are really laid back, too, from what I've seen. I've only seen her on television, but they are definitely similar.

I got the impression that her sister, Ashley, decided not to do a political office run so that all of the attention can stay on Wy.

Link to why Ashley is not running. She is not close to her sister and mother; they don't play a role in the career decisions she makes. She is respectful and contained when an interview touches this subject but it is clear. Damning with faint praise fits the situation.

Yeah, from what I've learned the relationship between Ashley, Naomi, and Wy has always been messy. I blame Naomi for that. Witch.

One comment from last night stands out for me. Len in his critique said something like "I know how hard this can be" in an attempt to take the sting from his criticisms, which made sense to me and I liked him for saying that since he doesn't often temper his critiques that way.

But Wy shot back, "You have no idea how hard this is" as though she is the only contestant or dancer who ever had any personal problems.

I klnow she's been through a lot but so have a lot of other (most) people. I did not appreciate her retort or her snide tone of derision when she said it.

    Did anyone else notice this?

    Re Wy's Len backtalk . . .

    Guess what?

I can actually understand where she was coming from . . .

It's like having somebody come up to you after your husband, grandmother, mother, etc., has passed away and saying: "Oh, I KNOW! I UNDERSTAND!!"

    Hell, no, they DON'T.

Which is why I've made a particular POINT of never, EVER saying that to someone who's just lost someone they loved.

No, I'm not the only person who's ever lost someone, and I WILL not be the last.

But every person walks their path, be it death of a loved one, dance as a new experience on a TV show, or whatever, in their own way. And they have their own personal feelings to deal with as regards their paths. NOBODY can do it for them, or feel it in the same way as they do.

So, no, Len --- while meaning no harm at all, I believe --- stepped in it unintentionally when he said that.

    JMHO.

Do you think that Tony meant that Len did NOT know how hard it could be? I didn't hear that remark of Tony's and am wondering what Tony meant by that. I only heard Wy/s snide retort.

I had it recorded and played it back.I never heard Wy. I did hear Tony and his 'no you don't'.He was telling Len he didnt know how hard it was- I guess Tony is the new rude guy .I think he is frustrated with Wy, he knows she doesn't try when she is out there, he takes it out on Len. Not good

We'll agree to disagree. Whoever said it was out of bounds IMO especially when Len was trying to make nice.
