    Help me with this:
Wynona is Naomi's daughter and not her mother?

NOt being critical just trying to figure out who is who.

Huh? Naomi is Wynnona's mother. She led Wy to believe that the man who raised her was her biological father and he wasn't. She lied to her for 30 years. She got pregnant at 18 and when the guy wouldn't marry her, she tricked another boy into marrying her and let him believe the baby (Wynonna) was his.

I think Wynnona is an excellent singer, but I thought she was way over scored last night. She tried and she gave it all she had, but I thought every move look awkward and stilted. Ashley look liked she was enjoying it.

I figured out why Wynonna looks so large. It's not that she's so big, it's that she doesn't have much of waist. I will say that the dress she had on last night, is the best thing I have ever seen her wear.

I think the important thing is that she is trying. She did better than I thought she would. It takes a lot of couragous for a person in her shape to do such a thing on tv. I think they should get some credit just for trying.

I actually thought Wynonna did very well. She had decent footwork and definite pizzaz.

As respects Naomi not telling her about her "real" dad for 30 years, I'm know that isn't the first first time something of the sort has happened. I'm more surprised that the truth actually came out.

I thought she did fine, she just needs to loosen up. A little stiff.

She puts me off to a HUGE degree. That is an understatement.

    Agreed.

I read her as being very nervous (understandable, I think).

    But yes, she did fine.

Its all about the fan base. Wy might have more than Lisa ,DL or Andy Dick.

We have learned a lot over the history of the franchise. This isn't our first rodeo! Speaking of rodeos, sweetheart Ty was no Fred Astaire, but the rodeo fans kept him in the competition until F4 or so. A political fan base kept Bristol in until F3, and Kate's reality fans kept her in for a long time. There are others that prove this point, but those come readily to my mind.
Wynonna is a well-known and well-liked country singer. If the country fans get behind her, it won't matter how well or how poorly she dances, she will be around either until her time naturally plays out, or until F3 when the judges actually get the chance to begin exerting a little more control from their positions.
