I think that would have been generous. That dance was 3s for me. There was no dancing. No energy that Nancy says was there. Tristan jumped around like the happy little devil and had fun. Nancy looked horribly lost.

I call BS on having a real bottom 2. I wonder who they're trying to drum up support for. Or maybe it's Hope, but she stays, but it's a way for the show to once again kick Maks while he's down.

Brooke asks the obvious to Nancy-she has a 50% chance of leaving, what will she take with her? Tristan hopes they do better next time if they're here. Brooke asks Rob if he's the dark horse. Rob says he's human, he doesn't consider himself a horse. Cheryl thinks he's peaking at the right time. Really, J.R. took a drop because of his team. J.R. busts out some Bieber. Tom says 'welcome to Dancing with the Livestock'.

If Hope and Maks aren't in jeopardy, I think it's a given that Nancy and Tristan get the axe, unless we have a real shocker of an exit tonight.

I'm happy that kids who have faced some serious odds get a shot at some attention, but DWTS might want to consider how often they plan on doing that. They don't want it to end up seeming like a gimmick.

I heard that Bieber did a video for his holiday CD in Franklin, Tennessee. Now, I realize very few people probably know this, but Franklin, Tennessee was the site of a bloody Civil War battle in which literally thousands of men, many of them right around Bieber's age, died over a mere five hours. Obviously, in the south, that's not that uncommon--there are Civil War battle sites everywhere. And it's not like people don't still celebrate Christmas in Franklin. But having been there and done the Civil War tour, it's kind of me to think Fa-la-la-la-la Franklin.

J.R. just made fun of the Bieb! He should win just for that.

OK, J.R. has crossed over to the point where he is actively working the 'cute' now.

DWTS used to have better filler.

It'll be interesting if it's not Hope in the bottom 2, who it might be. And if it is Hope and she goes home, why the big deal of saving Nancy and letting people know she almost went.

Or maybe all the negative editing backfired and the show wants to try and spare Hope.

Is that ballerina girl kind of big for a ballerina or is the guy she's with just sort of short?

And by big, I meant tall--I just realized how that might sound.

It might be David, simply because he was on the losing team in the team dance, which might have put someone on the winning team, like Hope, just a tiny bit ahead of him. However, if it is someone like David, he still did enough better in the individual dance to save him over Nancy, I would think.

It'd be interesting if David is in the bottom 2 again, and for only the second time this season (and in how many seasons?), they reveal the real bottom 2 to save him.

Tom says every season they invite the pros to create a dance that inspires them-really? Of course, cue Derek, who is out dancing...I don't know what.
