That's her "I'm a Diva" pose. I think an instruction manual on how to do it comes with the course they take when they first train to be Divas.

    Oh, boy . . .

I think you may be on to something, there, because I've seen Fran Drescher strike that SAME pose a million times, or more!

Maybe it's time for the Divas to come up with something else, because THAT one is seriously played out!!!!!!!!!!!

But Divas feel themselves to be cliche proof. That's part of the core definition, I think. The same way that drag queens do.

I question ... is she actually a Diva? Or is that her character? I know her ABC Soap character is a diva too, but that's not what I mean. I mean - is the whole Diva thing just an act? Would we know the difference?

I think it's Erica Kane that is the Diva. I've never seen any evidence that Susan Lucci is one.

I'm no longer a soap fan, but I think Susan still has a HUGE fanbase. I;ve seen her on talk shows, infomercials, etc. She keeps 'out there". She is still beautiful, and the "diva" thing is just her character.

The "Diva" thing is definitely all her character "Erica Kane"
Susan Lucci herself is so down to earth and so unlike "Erica" it's amazing. Watch her on any talk show and you'll see.
She also lives on a ranch somewhere and is always wearing jeans at home, lol...

I agre with Carrie Ann, Lucci needs to put on a few pounds, not just for the dancing but just to look more healthy in general, imo.
She looked frail and scrawny to me.

Each season you see the stars loose weight during the show because of all the dancing. I like Carrie Ann and showed her concern to tell Susan to try to gain weight. She has a great figure now but can't afford to loose weight.
