I'm glad they cut the attitude this week. Even though they say they're going back to being edgy and untraditional I see they stuck to the rules pretty well this week. Still not a fan of them, but hopefully that storyline about them being the rebels and always butting heads with Len has come to an end. This show is beginning to feel like Idol in that regard. Considering they'll likely be doing the west coast swing next week, maybe that'll be their big comeback.

I actually pefer the East Coast Swing myself, but with the liberties that are typically taken in this show I don't think there would be an appreciable difference between the performances that we would see if either the East Coast Swing, the West Coast Swing, or the Jitterbug is selected.

I don't see all that much difference between Jitterbug and Jive, but a lot of the difference has to do with Jitterbug lifts. I don't see how they can choreograph a real jitterbug without lifts. I think there can be some entertaining performances with Salsa and Hustle.

I agree about the lifts. That's why I don't think we'd be able to tell much difference within the context of the regular season rules.

Lancey were screwed in the scoring last night. To be below the other legit contestants was unfair. They were at least as good as Tony and Maurice (who was VASTLY overscored after he performed as Cheryl's pole), better than Susan. The critique that the pro used the star as a prop could be given every week to Karina, Louis, Mark, and many times to Cheryl, Julianne, Derek.

But to score this pair EQUAL to Cloris was a mockery.

The fact that Cloris has managed to ever get anything above a 20 is an insult. I'm sure last night will re-ignite the L/L fanbase to keep them in it. I still don't know if I see them winning, but I think they'll at least make the final 4 (barring a shocking elimination). I wasn't impressed with their dance but it was the dance style overall I didn't like. It still does surprise me that CA and Bruno had such a negative reaction.

Exactly! It was an insult to them and their abilities.

No way should they have scored the same as Cloris and Corky - NO WAY! What an insult to them and the audience. Yes she danced more than he did and he did fall, BUT, at least they danced and Lance was pretty smooth. Lacey just has to up her game in the choreography dept. but she is new to that and to the show. Give her a break. Cloris is a BIG JOKE. Okay maybe L/L deserved a 21 but Cloris and Corky should have scored at least 5 points lower. This is just getting ridiculous.
