    DWTS Season 6 casting

    Any rumors out there?

Will we be subject to another Spice Girl? (We've only had one, but the UK version ALSO had one, and well... there ARE five of them, right?)
Another Teen Disney Sensation? (we are at two so far, right?)
Another Really Old Guy? (besides Len, I mean--what have we had now? Five or six?)
Another athlete from increasingly obscure sports?
Another Osmond (the idea of Donny makes me want to run for the hills)?
    Reality TV stars?
    Soap or ex-Soap stars?
    Models?
The inevitable "jokey guy pick from something distantly related to sports" like Kenny Mayne (sports commentator) or Marc Cuban (sports team owner)?

Opinions are welcomed if no real rumors exist. We can talk about the stereotypes just as easily as real picks, if we must.

    As a dancer? Seriously?

As much as I hate her, she'd be the biggest "name" they ever got on this show by far. Two fifths of the Spice Girls can't match one Celine. Some of the sports stars come close, but in the "singers as ballroom dancers" department the show has been kind of weak.

Celine Dion? I would stay away in droves!
I don't think the ballroom is big enough for the ego.

Also, I think one Osmond is more than enough, even if Donny was a part of my youth. Unless it was one of the more obscure, older Osmond brothers.

When this season first started I thought about how I'd love to see Donny on the show next time, but I've had enough Osmonds to last me awhile

And don't forget 90210 alumni-first we had Ian, then Jennie. Wonder if we'll get another from that show.

I vaguely remember reading something about Kristi Yamaguchi being interested in coming on the show, I think.

OOOH Christopher Walken can actually dance. He is from the era where the Hollywood actors were all triple threats, singing, dancing and acting. While I would love to see him on the show I would feel bad about it too. I think he would turn it down though, he will work forever as a character actor if he wants to but probably not if he brings himself to the level of DWTS.

I felt strange to me to see Jane Seymour on the stage doing anything but a waltz. She is elegant and had to work hard not to let the show demean her. I think she was successful in that.

I hope Christopher Walken does not do the show.

    Ah it is late, night
