    Oh . . .

Since this IS a DWTS thread, Derek IS on DWTS, and news about this IS out there in the general Media . . .

Y'all need to read his book!

    Yep.

    Sure have.

And I will tell you that I got so engrossed, I couldn't put it down and just zipped through it. I read fast, ANYWAY, but, particularly if I get caught up in a book, I go at warp speed!

It's worth your time and money. I want to re-read it, and will actually be laying down my money to purchase it and do so. I put a hold request on it through my local library (I ended up being near the top of the request list!), so that's how I got my hot little hands on it, in the first place.

DWTS' Anointed Golden Boy that usually/more often than not winds up with the ringers?

    Absolutely.

I am NOT backing off that viewpoint.

    BUT . . .

After having read Derek's book, I realize that he's ALSO the talented DWTS Golden Boy who's worked very, very hard to get to where he is at such a young age. And --- along the way --- he seems to've learned (and is STILL learning, I think!) life lessons that some people twice or even three times his age do not have a clue in hell about.

    And probably never will.

    I think you'll enjoy it!

It was just announced on GMA that Julianne Hough has joined the panel of judges.

Why couldn't she just be a pro or something?! Not a fan of a fourth judge! Grrrrr.

    Re: DWTS In The Media

We used to have 4 judges on my country's version. Now, with the new season coming up, they've cut it down to 3. The 4 judge-thing worked fine, but I do prefer 3. If they were so gung-ho on having 4, why not just keep having guest judges?

Either way, I bid DWTS a not-so-fond farewell. They finally came up with a way to turn me off this show for good.

I've watched DWTS since the very first show back in '05 when Tom hosted, Lisa Canning was the co-host, and Trista was on it and got eliminated first.

    I am DONE.

If Julianne ever goes "Bye-Bye!" (Yeah, RIIIIGHT!), I'll tune in every week, again.

    I'll miss watching with y'all.
