The Creative Arts Emmys were held yesterday (or the Schmemmys, as Kathy Griffin call them) -- DWTS won 2 awards, for Lighting Design and Technical Direction/Camerwork. But Derek lost the Choreography Emmy to Tabitha & Napoleon Dumo of SYTYCD, for the routine "Puttin’ on the Ritz".

Congrats to DWTS on their 2 Emmys. I am sorry that Derek lost out on his, but "Puttin' on the Ritz" was a great routine. I hardly ever watch an opening number the second time, but I remember watching that one 2 more times trying to make sure that I saw all of it.

Looks like we are getting a 4th judge and it isn't Maks.

I, personally hate having 4 judges...it's just too much yapping. Boo.

After watching her guest judge spot, I think my days of watching may be over. Carrie, Julieanne, and Bruno is just too much for me.

I like her, and she gave some good critiques. I still think the thing with Maks was a set up( jmho)

Well, DWTS, we've had a good run. Too bad the new producers keep up the lousy trend of Conrad Green when it comes to poor decision making. Bringing her back as a judge... I couldn't stand her at the judges' table. The cheap potshots didn't exactly help any.

Not a fan of a 4th judge....I don't care who it is! 3 is plenty!

I also don't like the 4 judges bit. Or the fact that #4 is Julianne. I loved her as a dancer, but didn't like her as a judge.
I'm also disappointed that Maks is gone. Just glad that he went out on top.
I also don't like the way eliminations are done on the same show.

But I just like the show, so I'm willing to give the new season a try. The only thing that would get me to not watch is the cast of competitors. If I don't like them or don't care about them then the fun goes out of it for me.

    Nope.

    Don't like having four judges.

DOUBLE nope, DON'T like it at ALL that apparently, it's pretty much a wrap that Julianne is coming back as a judge.

I DEFINITELY want to check out Keo and Allison. Therefore, I MAY just YouTube the DWTS performances and completely skip any of the judges'. commentary. THAT way, I won't have to put up with that child and her nasty, personal, trying-to-be-funny-and-build-a-rep/create-a-role-as-the-in-house-snarkmistress-judge remarks about any of the pros.

Other than that, I'm pretty sure that I won't be popping any corn or whomping up any lemonade to watch each week, just in case she IS back as a judge.

TPTB ARE desperate to keep $#!+ stirred up, AREN'T they?
