They BOTH looked great this time and I really enjoyed the routine.

Good point, Krom. Even though Emmitt was making a choice to do this, I'm sure it was hard for him to be away from his family. I also think that he is speaking for himself and not trying to put anyone down by saying that.
It was originally my "question" and I didn't say he was putting anyone down. I just objected to the use of the word "sacrifice" in such a trivial context. Nobody twisted his arm to be on the show and build up a sweat for probably very good pay. And he probably saw his family often enough so that probably wasn't a big deal either.

I think there's a lot of sacrifice to be on that show. Some people thought it was worth it to revive their careers but I think Emmitt went into it for the challenge. I watched them on the Larry King Show and Mario also talked about how hard it was with his work and trying to get the practice in. They work very hard even though of course it is their choice. I don't think I could practice like that for 8 hrs a day.

I don't think the judges have to leave them tied because the audience vote wins over the judge's.

Emmitt and Cheryl's routine was good. However, it does not compare to the cowboy routine. I watched the cowboy one over and over and over. I was still talking about it days after it. LOL I know it is not fair to compare it to last year though.

    29 out of 30 ain't bad.

    Ain't bad atall!

Let's see what Mario and Karina do!

Gotta admit I did like last year's cowboy routine best, though!

Still think that unless Mario and Karina pretty much walk on water, Emmitt and Cheryl will win it.

Ah. Now StuporMario will get a 30, as pre-scripted, and the two competitors will end up with a tied "89" total score--thus making it fully a public choice.
