I'll be watching. The flowing gowns, the elegant tuxes, teeth clenched around a rose stem (wait! that was another show!) I love dancing, period. If you hear a loud crash, that's me knocking over a lamp as I twirl around and around the room. Ahhh, the waltz. Can't wait. P.S. Think they play Hernando's Hideaway during the Tango?

Picture a bunch of awkward kids, the girls towering over the boys, being taught how to dance by Mayberry's Aunt Bee look-alikes, taking their mission very seriously. Whenever the parents would come to observe, I've never understood how they were able to stifle their laughter. I'm looking forward to seeing how these dances should really be performed.
Loved the picture you painted for me.......my son is 12 and all I can do is imagine all his baseball buddies and those tall 12 year old girls attempting to twirl on the floor.......Love it!!!

I have to agree, it looks like it won't do well... unless there is some great humor or great drama. But I'm not planning on watching it.

BTW, great avatar, you gave me a great idea to update mine! Thank you!

I don't know about this show. I know it was really popular in Britain. I worry that seeing Joey McIntyre dance is going to bring back flashbacks from my childhood, though.

I was sorta going back and forth on wanting to see this show. I love ballroom (I love to salsa and perform bellydance). I've also watched "Strictly Ballroom" and "Shall We Dance" (Japanese version) hundreds of times!

WHY does there have to be ELIMINATIONS??? Why not go by a scoring system. Whoever gets the highest score wins. I think they should apply this system to other shows as well.

This could quite possibly be the dumbest show ever. We'll have to see...

Nothing and, I repeat Nothing can top "Who wants to marry a millionaire". Nothing. That show was dumb before it even started.
