I didn't like Kirstie, it had nothing to do with her weight, I just never have liked her -but she was super light on her feet.

I don't even mean a Macy Gray or Kate Gosselin type dud, just a real non dancer like Martina or Monica Seles or Gladys Knight.
I suspect that auditions for Glee and Disney both include some kind of basic steps to show natural inclination, rhythm, and ability to pick up a choreography. Amber dances with the rest of them or has when she was on every week, and even the actor who plays the boy in the wheelchair has danced in dream type sequences.
Glee has now been on for several seasons, so while Amber certainly hasn't had dance the way that we think of it, she has at least been in the musical numbers where it somewhat resembles a kind of dancing. She is now used to moving to the music, keeping rhythm, counting, etc. Those things should help her.

I hope it helps her, lots of ringers this time , she isn't the biggest ringer- thank goodness

Has she said somewhere that she didn't have dance training before Glee? She looks to me like someone who has taken dance lessons for much of her life. (Not a criticism or claim of ringerdom. I'm just saying that she moves like someone who has more than just natural talent and a touch of experience.)
    Seeking form amidst the void.

But if that's not possible, gimme a Margarita...shaken, not stirred...and hold the salt, please.

Most well-rounded (no pun intended) females have taken some dance in their lives, especially somebody with any kind of inclination toward an entertainment field.

I agree, although she seems really nervous about dancing. I guess taking lessons and then dancing in front of the camera is way different

I'm with you Critical. I don't really like him. I think he is a fantastic dancer and a great choreographer, but since the judges made him their pet, he greats on my nerves

I don't think that will happen, even dancing with Amber, he wont be handed any credit. OTOH It's sort of like me and Maks or Val, I cannot stand either of them, so I guess we like who we like regardless of who they dance with.

You know, it's not his fault if they see him as their pet....if, indeed, they do. People tend to favor extremely talented, gifted people and appreciate them for their gift. Many people are jealous when they have absolutely nothing that can compare. They have nothing, so they want YOU to have nothing. I think it's more a matter of respect, than anything else.
