A little bit tentative, but you could easily see his heart and soul were ALL in it.

    HE DID VERY WELL!

    That was SO beautiful!

That moved me just as much as Jacoby's did!

The guys are doing FANTASTICALLY well!

    Damnit!

    I'm TEARY-EYED, AGAIN!!

Oh good lord Carrie Anne, how can you be crying and the daughter isn't?

Wow Aly's dance was really good! First contemporary dance I've really enjoyed on this show. I really felt her emotion too! I actually teared up at the end!
As a professional dancer (contemporary, ballet, modern, jazz) myself, it takes A LOT for a contemporary dance to impress me on this show.
For the person who asked what to look for in contemporary...the answer isn't so simple. Contemporary much less straightforward as far as specific technique or moves that are done. Emotion and story telling have a lot to do with it. Movement wise it is kind of a mix between several forms of dance, but most closely related to modern dance (in which there are several styles of modern-so it is kind of complicated).

Terrific job, Andy! I'm so glad for him that he was able to do that dance & do it well.

Andy wore a horribly-70's diagonal-striped silk shirt. Hideous. Yet he looked exceptionally sharp. A VERY nice performance from the notorious Dick. I am NOT an Andy Dick fan, and mostly I hate "drama queens" and everything he represents, but despite my brain, I really like Andy's presence on the show.

CarrieAnn was overcome with emotion. Len mocked her and did a fake cry. Hmmm, I notice they didn't let Bruno give a critique.

I am still crying my eyes out and my throat is all choked up. Bravo Andy.

Damn. You just never know with this show. I was so ready to villify and cheer for Andy's downfall before the season started, based on the past. And now he made me cry.

    You just never know.

Right at the end, the daughter teared up a little. But some people just don't cry as easily as others. One of my sisters bursts into tears easily. Partially because she does, I try to avoid public tears, because it was so embarrassing watching her get weepy over, say, a Little House on the Prairie rerun or a gooey Christmas commercial.

It's moments like Andy's and Jacoby's that are what this show is all about, for me.
