Well even if it was genuine, I don't find it cute or loveable.

We all like someone different, she is one heck of a dancer now - which is why she won.

That's good. I wasn't questioning her dancing ability.

I'm from North Carolina like Kellie and I love her a lot, however, I think she really did run with the naive routine. But, that's okay in my book. She went from very meager means to having a great career doing what she loves! She has a great husband, home and LOTS of people who love her. I say, go girl......lol And who knew she was a natural born dancer!

Regarding Kellie's naivety during AI, at that time I always wondered if it was possible for anyone to be that naive, but since then she has seen much more of the world and had a tremendous number of opportunities, yet in interviews she will still have moments where she will tell a story regarding something she has done that is SMH ditzy sounding, but it is obvious that it is something she really has done. I just think it is a part of who she is and at 19, having seen so little of the world and not having the experiences that she now does, it didn't come across as real/genuine. That part of Kellie is still there, it just isn't as readily obvious/present. I often cringed when they would interview her on Idol, but now I just love when she is on a talk show because she is who she is and makes no apologies for it, and she is great fun and knows how to laugh at herself. There are far too many in the entertainment industry who take themselves far too seriously.
