I think it's very difficult for a 16 year old to even try to match wits with a guy who does it for a
a living. Im a dog owner and lover, and while Jimmy took the banter a little too far, Zen held her own. What I saw was a very sweet unaffected young girl, who actually was a better interview than women twice her age. I am impressed that she puts an emphasis on school, both her parents are teachers and she has her priorities in order. It's actually nice to have a contestant on the show who values education.

I guess we see it differently .She has been dancing and performing for awhile, so I don't buy she was nervous. Her parents, .manager and ABC knew she would be judged if she were on this adult dance show( that's all about being judged) just like DL and others are judged. Why cut her slack, because she is 16?

She bought up the dog, not JK .I am not saying she doesn't have great talent, because she has a tonne .However if she does win the MBT, lets hope she gives a shout out to her pet with cancer!! . I know my children would.

As to her education, she is a 'Disney Kid,' they have rules about homework etc.

Re: the dog, that struck me as mortified, nervous laughter. A lot of adults are struck with inappropriate laughter. She's 16. A child. I'm not going to judge her for that.

She seems to me like a sweet, normal kid. I'm still rooting for her to win.
It struck me as nervous laughter also. But I also think that Jimmy took advantage of her nerves re that. He has automatic reactions to how people behave. That's his job. But I think a little bit of adjustment in his attitude re the dog would have been more "gentlemanly."

She may have been dancing and performing a while, but its not like she's been doing any big time talk show gigs, so I'd say she was probably nervous!

To each his/her own in this case!

I for one really like her and thinks she super talented...hope she goes far!

I am not sure what dance Zendaya has this week, but it is likely Viennese Waltz, since ABC released the dances.

Twitter is being used to collect Data for everything from Taylor Swift tunes to Support for President Obama. I see nothing cheesy about it, it's a decent marketing tool, especially when the celebs are instantly connecting with the audience.

Also, given Zendaya's fanbase and the median age of that base, it's pointless to participate unless you're a robotweeting spammer for another star.

This whole season seems to be an excuse to boost Zendaya's career. Another fine product from ABC's parent company, Disney!
