So, Kirstie's fanbase usually saves her, but she's the only one who scored lower than Bristol.

Makes me wonder if Kelly or Sabrina are doomed, if Bristol & Kirstie's voters come through as usual...

    True, dat.

But a little detail like that never stopped 'em from overscoring before!

    Tough tough tough competition.
At this point, the only two who are obviously lower-echolon are Kirsti & Bristol. One of them has GOT to be eliminated.

No votes to save Kirstie and Maks, jucamer? Maks taught Val everything he knows.

I was the most impressed with Gilles/Peta and Kelly/Val tonight. They both had styles that neither partner nor star had done before, and they both met their challenges. Makes me feel even more like I did last week--that they should have stuck to three or four, at most, styles that would be equally unfamiliar to everyone and have them choose between those. Once a dance had been chosen its maximum number of times, it could have been eliminated as a future choice. Honestly, it just doesn't seem fair to have some dances that haven't been done much and some that haven't been done at all and are totally unfamiliar to even the pros.

I was least impressed with Bristol, because she flat out told Mark that she wanted him to make the choreography easier, when everyone else was telling their partners to go for it. Even Kristie, who isn't that skilled, was willing to try the cartwheel trick, and Gilles told Peta and their guest choreographer that if he was only going to do a Bollywood dance once, he wanted to really go for it and do as much as he could possibly do. Lots of other dancers obviously had the same idea. Only Bristol wanted her choreography dumbed down. IMO, that's just not an all-star attitude. Even if she isn't as good as the rest of them, she could try to do everything she can do--even if that's just a cartwheel.

One other thing--I wish they'd do away with the dry ice/smoke special effect and anything else that hides the dancers' feet. I really want to see their feet, and I've always hated the way smoke hides them, no matter who's using the effect. I feel the same way about costumes that obscure the feet, whether it's a gown that's overly long or a stupid gorilla costume.
