Shawn & Derek: Odd song for a foxtrot, but it was really, really good!

Derek and Shawn - great dance. Can't see them doing anything romantic though - they look like siblings

Shawn never was able to do the sexy Latin dances convincingly in my opinion... we shall see if she has grown as this season goes!

Why, oh WHY haven't they 86'd CA, at least, yet?

I have to agree with Len that it kinda didn't look/feel like a foxtrot.

    It was OK, though.

I don't quite get Shawn's costume. I especially don't like the thing in her hair. I wonder if the problem is that she's petite and muscular, so it's just harder to put her in a traditional ballroom style gown. Maybe it was the length of it, but something about it was a bit odd.

I figured someone--probably Len--would question the Fox Trottishness of that dance. But it's Derek, and it was danced well, so they probably won't get dinged all that much.

Joey had Kym the first time as well! They came in second to Apolo/Julianne!

I don't think so I think they can use the half points while scoring (as CA did with Joey)

Why do I get the feeling that Shawn will be pushed on us this season? I liked her, but her being paired with Derek just seems like they are setting her up to be a favourite. Why couldn't Derek get Bristol?

Now they are good! She looks like she has just come back from her season. She also does not look as bulky as she did the first time and seems more mature. They will be contenders I think.
