My Mom just phoned me when the Pussycat dolls were on, and said "THIS counts as MUSIC?" Mom's funny.

Honestly? With them it's not about music (or dancing). It's about S-E-X.

Consider it like "strippers lite". You know, like Go-Go dancing. Or if you want a classic reference, burlesque.

I'm actually not insulting them by saying so. They own up to the burlesque angle. It's why I give them at least a little bit of credit--they are being honest about it (unlike the group I earlier said they were better than--the Spice Girls--who tried to pretend they were actually serious for a while).

I thought she said "Charro" was singing. Now that would have been funny.

Can I say that I REALLY hate this co-hostess? Her perky manner wants me want to do something politically incorrect and potentially violent.

Cha cha cha cha. This music actually isn't THAT bad. It's kind of funky, in a latin way.

There was more pairs figure skating in that cha-cha than actual cha-cha.

Yes, I had to give my Mom the quick rundown of who they are/what they do. I even added the tidbit that they were started by Jonathan Antin's (of "Blow Out") sister. Mom only knew him from QVC. Mom is now "in the know". And hates the Pussycat Dolls with a passion.

More Pussycat extreme talent. This lead chick can sing, but the rest look like they are just filler.

See, the key to the Pussycat Dolls is that ONLY one of them really knows how to sing anyway... the rest just Go Go dance, not that it isn't extremely entertaining.

I actually DO hope that singing Pussycat gets much more money than the others.

The only thing lamer than the Pussycat Dolls name is their "performance". It was totally pathetic.

Drew was even better tonight than last night.
