I'm definitely on the Jerry Rice bandwagon. He's doing a great job and having fun as all of you say. Definitely, Drew is the best men's dancer but as for heart, I give Jerry the top spot!! Go Jerry!!

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Judges for the 2006 Miss America pageant will include two former contestants, a fashionista and a former NFL receiver.

Pageant organizers have named seven celebrity judges who will rate the 10 finalists on the final night of competition Saturday.

The judges for the first pageant to be held outside Atlantic City, N.J., are: television personality Leeza Gibbons, "Malcolm in the Middle" star Jane Kaczmarek, Miss America 1985 Sharlene Wells Hawkes, R&B artist Brian McKnight, fashion commentator Robert Verdi, football star Jerry Rice and "Desperate Housewives" narrator Brenda Strong, who competed as Miss Arizona in 1980.

"Desperate Housewives" star James Denton will host the pageant, which will be held at the Aladdin Resort & Casino and aired on cable network Country Music Television.

The 52 contestants are judged throughout the week by preliminary judges. The talent competition counts for 35 percent of their overall score, the swimsuit competition is 15 percent, evening wear is 20 percent and a one-on-one interview with the judges counts for 25 percent. An on-stage interview is 5 percent.

I will be taping the show tonight because we have a school event to attend, so please - please place a couple of votes for Jerry for me. Was it just me or did they close the voting earlier last week.

This guy is a class act. I've heard he is extremely competitive and hard working. I think he is having fun and I enjoy watching his pleasure in performing and trying something new. Hope he is one of the final couples.

I really hope he wins the whole thing. He is not the best dancer, but he comes across as a class act and a nice person.

When you seem most famous people they usually have an agenda, Jerry doesn't, seem too.

    One good dude!

If P beats out Jerry tonight in the voting I'll be very tempted to stop watching. Thanks

Oh hey, he lives near me. My daughter ice skates with his youngest. I had no idea who he was, he's just another one of the parents watching the kids skate. Pretty cool that he's involved with his kids and not shuffling her off with a caretaker.

I just luuvvvv "The Jerry".....but that last performance was kind of "sucky". I think it was the choreography and music selection that tanked it. Just glad he's still "in"!
