Well another statistical oddity just occured to me. If the highest phone vote getter is granted the equivalent to a 30, and the others range in proportion to that, then the phone votes actually wind up being MORE important than the judges. Why? Because in while theory the 3 judges could give a perfect score to someone, they probably aren't going to. Whereas if the top phone getter would be assured a 30, if that had to be used as a base to assign scores to the others.
