After everything I've been reading, the media had all but crowned Shawn/Derek. I was planning to skip the 2nd half of the show tonight if FORT confirmed it.

Now I get to watch the 2nd hour in anticipation of what I wanted so bad.

Ah well, I suppose it's appropriate. They pick the winner who is as phony as the show has become in recent seasons. One less show to DVR is not a bad thing.

Never, ever in a million years would I have expected Melissa to be in the finale, let alone anywhere near it.

But words can't express how happy I am for Tony! He has earned this more than any other pro, and no doubt this was probably his last chance to finally take it.

It was great seeing the cast, especially Maks/Val, rush the stage. They probably expected the other outcome, too!

Hard to believe Tony just was suffering from a back injury a week ago

And seeing tonight is yet another reason I love Tom-he really realized just how hard Tony has worked to get to this point, and even seemed to take pride in giving him the trophy.
