Emmitt has the Lindyhop....Shawn has Bhangra....Apolo has Jazz....Kelly has Flamenco....and Melissa got the hustle.


Last time Tony did a hustle, I'm pretty sure it ruined his chances of winning with Stacy...guess we shall see what happens the time around.

Bottom line facts have an understandable way of being persistent. And the bottom line facts are that Emmitt Smith is the All-Time Leading Rusher of the National Football League and an integral key in building the first $2 billion sports franchise in history. Concurrent to that, the bottom lines also are that athletes, generally, and football players -- especially specifically -- tend to carry their fanbases into DWTS.

Pure DWTS has had Emmitt in no lower than third place odds to finish this season each week for the whole season according to their Vegas oddsmakers -- most likely based upon these underlying facts.

And Emmitt may not win or come in second or even third or fourth but he certainly has a fanbase and he certainly has earned that fanbase through his tremendous life accomplishments that, in my opinion, far exceed anything that history will ever record from Dancing with the Stars.

I am very sorry to see Gilles go because he is enormously talented as a dancer but I think his lack of outside accomplishments hurt him in an All-Star season in terms of fanbase and that is always the bottom line on this show and why they explicitly state, "Vote for your favorite". Hopefully, though, this increased exposure will help Gilles in his acting career going forward.

I think Derek will come up with something fun with the Knight Rider theme, but I wonder how well Shawn will do since hip-shaking is her weak point. (She has no hips)

Those two - "Knight Rider" and Hip Hop - have NO correlation to each other. You can't make a hip-hop dance out of that theme (and yes I'm going by the '80s theme).

As far as eliminated - Love Kirstie's humor emotion and remembering to entertain the audience, but it was her time to go. I AM surprised Gilles was eliminated.

The disappointment of this season is - unless Melissa manages to pull of a win - we will have a TWO-time winner in this, and that just adds to the ridiculousness of this season.
