I'd say G/P did a pretty good job at trying to meld those two bizarrely different styles.

It was BACK, but it was DOWN, so it offset her chin.

Oh, yeah, and I like Peta looks much better with a softer hairstyle.

And obviously we're not going to get tens, because CA doesn't like "arm thingies." As Tom so aptly put it: "Arm thingies. That's helpful."

I wonder if Len will consider the flames "frippery"? I didn't really think they were necessary.

Oh, crap. Here come the tens....I'm sorry, but I don't think those two styles were that hard to combine. Nor do I think they really were Shawn's strongest dance styles.

And Derek needs to sit down and stay seated. If it was his week off, he should have stayed out of it.

I totally missed the flames; I was too engrossed in watching the dance!

It never should have happened. If Derek couldn't dance this week, he should have handed over the reins to Mark and sat it out. It's supposed to be about Shawn's ability, and if she's that good, she should have had no problem dealing with another familiar partner for a week--and Derek should have recognized that. Having the two of them collaborate might also have ended up being an advantage for Shawn--just for that reason, Derek should have sat out, so there'd be no question of how having two choreographers might have affected what happened on stage.

I'm confused by the song used in the superstars of dance thing. Was that in English? I couldn't make out a single word. I didn't like it at all.

When Spatz is NOT overdancing, he's quite acceptable.

Haven't seen him THAT restrained since the devil was a boy.
