    Oddly, I thought Emmitt looked more comfortable in the solo than dancing with Cheryl. Maybe he just prefers being out of hold.

    And at least I saw an actual solo with him. Some people seemed to do the tiniest, shortest solo they could possibly do.

    I think Emmitt totally enjoys the dances where he gets to be out of hold a lot more.

    From the rehearsal package they showed, I got the impression he wasn't keen on the music or the dance this week. I agree that he appears to like the faster, Latin dances better. The foxtrot isn't exactly a party dance.

    He's kind of the opposite of Ty Murray, who loved dancing in hold, because, as he pointed out, "I'm good at holding onto things."
