Derek is the best choreographer on this show, hands down.

He may annoy me at times, but there is no denying his skill!

However, I do agree with ness...I'd like to see her do one dance without a flip in it, but with no rules tonight, I understand why they threw those on there.

Melissa's hair is so cute this week, it's fixed in a Karina-style.

When I first saw her in the line-up at the beginning of the show, for a minute, I thought she was Karina. The hair was very similar. I agree it's cute, but it was a little bit of a shock at first, because I'd never really thought of them as looking that much alike before, but put them in the hairstyle and you really see a similarity.

Methinks they're anointing Derek for another win on his way out the door.

That was really good. They will get 10's. Lots of tricks ... almost like a freestyle.

Maybe that's what Derek should've done. Save this dance for the finals for when they do the freestyle.

I have no words for Derek/Shawn: TOOK MY BREATH AWAY!!!!!!!

There is no way for any contestant to match that perfection! So precise with all the power, I just can't believe. Len says it was brilliant.
Paula says Derek should be on the presidential ballot.

And besides all that, Shawn's dress was extremely flattering on her blocky figure. It's the best i've ever seen her look. And I loved the way she held her arms low, and all the twisting. I have no idea how they kept all four feet coordinated at that speed and with that amount of jumping/spinning, but they did.

The tricks really were to-die-for, but they didn't stress me out like Melissa/Tony's, probably because Derek/Shawn executed theirs so quickly that there wasn't any time for me to take a nervous breath... each one was already executed and perfectly landed before I even knew it was coming.

Derek's incredibly gifted and the show will really miss him when he is gone. And I also get why people think the show greases the wheels for him as well.

Who else thinks Kelly and Val might be having their chemistry extend off the dance floor? Not sure if either is involved with anyone, but their chemistry seems very real.
