10/9 DWTS Results Show Discussion **West Coast Spoilers**

OK I'll bite,... what was the drama? (I was gone all summer.)

Hope came out with a tell all after the Olympics. In it, she claimed her rehearsals with Maks got more physical than shown...she claimed Maks slapped her, I heard she claimed Maks punched her in the stomach, that he grabbed her, left hand marks on her...the show offered to give her a new pro and fire Maks, but she sucked it up because she didn't want to ruin his career She also claimed a former coach slapped her back in 2008.

So far it seems more like straight recapping tonight, with some extra clips of the couples talking in the kiss & cry after they finished. Nothing earth-shattering yet.

I think Maks is having a great deal of fun with Kirstie, much as he did last time. I also think that because he knows he'll be around for only a season or two more, he's okay with enjoying himself. Third thing is that I believe he wants to expand his career to acting and is demonstrating that he's fine with allowing himself to look silly. Kirstie can surely open up some opportunities for him and I've no doubt she will.

I am crossing all available body parts that she who must not be named will be leaving tonight although I'll probably be disappointed yet again.

I think that's why I'm actually enjoying Derek this season. If it's really his last season, he seems to be just going out with style and enjoying himself. So it might be the same for Maks. He knows they aren't going to win this season (hopefully he gets that stupid tacky trophy before he's gone, though), so I can see why they're taking that approach.

And I can just say the amateur singers on The Voice are 1000x better than our singers on DWTS. Can we take the rejects from that show and have them sing on DWTS?

Hope was simply too much drama and too much bad attitude for me. Glad I don't have to be around her in real life.

I LOVED the ending of Kelly and Val's dance. How dramatic! Actually he grabbed her like she was a rag doll, kinda scary but it was sure a great dance.

I wonder what it was like for Maks & Val growing up.
