10/9 DWTS Results Show Discussion **West Coast Spoilers**

I really liked Apolo's dance -- it's the first time I didn't think of him as a kid while watching him dance.

I think they just don't get any more beautiful/stunning than Karina.

I am reading not watching even though I am on EST. Are they showing good clips behind the scenes that we have not seen? Should I tune in?

Hope came out with a tell all after the Olympics. In it, she claimed her rehearsals with Maks got more physical than shown...she claimed Maks slapped her, I heard she claimed Maks punched her in the stomach, that he grabbed her, left hand marks on her...the show offered to give her a new pro and fire Maks, but she sucked it up because she didn't want to ruin his career :riiight She also claimed a former coach slapped her back in 2008.

So far it seems more like straight recapping tonight, with some extra clips of the couples talking in the kiss & cry after they finished. Nothing earth-shattering yet.

I think that's why I'm actually enjoying Derek this season. If it's really his last season, he seems to be just going out with style and enjoying himself. So it might be the same for Maks. He knows they aren't going to win this season (hopefully he gets that stupid tacky trophy before he's gone, though), so I can see why they're taking that approach.

And I can just say the amateur singers on The Voice are 1000x better than our singers on DWTS. Can we take the rejects from that show and have them sing on DWTS?

Hmm, guess she thought that LATER would be a better time to ruin his career.

Hope was simply too much drama and too much bad attitude for me. Glad I don't have to be around her in real life.

Did Derek really do the full-on splits? (side-by-side w/ Shawn) Pretty amazing.

I LOVED the ending of Kelly and Val's dance. How dramatic! Actually he grabbed her like she was a rag doll, kinda scary but it was sure a great dance.

I wonder what it was like for Maks & Val growing up.
