This is too much like a gymnastics routine, and not enough like a DANCE routine.
And, while Derek's costume is OK, Shawn's is not doing a thing for me.

I liked Helio's better.
Shawn and Derek suffer from the Melissa and Tony brother and sister chemistry as well.
That was fun, but it was a little too much in my opinion.
If whoever is picking there dance next week is smart, they'll give her the rumba...that'll be her downfall dance.
And see Bruno and CA drooling?! They broke hold, but it's okay because it was just awesome apparently.
Shawn and Derek I thought had the second best reinterpretation of the night...After Kirstie and Maks. I really enjoyed that. I totally played to her strenghts...but it was not the BEST dance ever on the show...by a long shot.
I agree with Len...fair is fair. If you bitch about it for Bristol, you must do so for Shawn.
Man, that was AWESOME!! (my signal came back) I don't think they can call anything they did lifts, because I'll bet you money that Shawn could do any of those moves without Derek, LOL! She looked like she was having SO much fun!

I may not be a Bristol fan, but I don't think it's fair to slam one contestant and not another, no matter how much better Shawn's dance was and how much fun it was to see Bristol get slammed last week, it just isn't right. Not that this show has ever been about fairness, but I'm just saying.
