What's really scary is that Helio had the racing community behind him the first season, plus his general demeanor won a lot of people over who'd never heard of him before (my mother loved him, for instance, and she never watched auto racing in her life) and Kelly has soap fans behind her, and they tend to be a very loyal lot.

Does that mean Bristol's fan base is even larger and more loyal than that? Yeesh.
