She made her movie debut in 1982 in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, in which she played beautiful Vulcan officer Lieutenant Saavik.
In 1999, Kirstie starred in the dark comedy film Drop Dead Gorgeous, a cult-classic mockumentary that follows the contestants in a beauty pageant in Minnesota. She starred in Woody Allen’s Deconstructing Harry, and alongside John Travolta in the hit films Look Who’s Talking, Look Who’s Talking Too and Look Who’s Talking Now. Some of her other film credits include Shoot to Kill, Summer School, For Richer or Poorer and Champions.

Greatest actress of her generation? Yikes!:stressed
I am one of the very few who wasn't a Max and Kirstie fan. She bugs me for some reason. I've never liked her personality. But, I'm sure her fans will be glad about this and she will do well in the competition.
Re: Kirstie Alley & Maks Chmerkovskiy - All-Stars
I don't LOVE her, but I liked what she brought out in Maks and their first dance was so fantastic. I thought she was going to be more Cloris Leachman, but she proved she was a serious contender from week 1. I still don't love her, but I think she's got a terrific work ethic and I love that she's competing with people who could be her children and, heck, grandchildren!
Re: Kirstie Alley & Maks Chmerkovskiy - All-Stars
OF, Critical, I think you just ruined my day! LOL
I'm around the same age as Kirstie, and the thought that i could have grandchildren old enough to compete on the show, well it makes me feel ancient!
Re: Kirstie Alley & Maks Chmerkovskiy - All-Stars
Kirstie is 4 years younger than I. My grandkids are 25, 24, and 17. Yep, she could be.

I think one of the guys will win, but I imagine Maks will have more fun than he did last season. ;)
