Dancing With the Stars Pool

The prize for winning the pool is bragging rights. I wish I could offer a monetary prize but I'm dirt-poor! Hopefully it will be enough of a reward to root for your team and to be able to declare victory for all time as The Dancing With the Star All-Stars pool champion. :)

I was really nervous while watching the results show this week that I had made some bad choices in the pool but everything worked out ok. I didn't originally have Kelly & Val on my team but added them after watching the premiere. I did have Joey & Kym in my team originally but removed them after the premiere. If I hadn't done that, I would have already lost team member in the pool. Thank goodness Kelly didn't end up in the bottom two or worse, going home, or I would have started the pool with a tremendous bellyflop straight to the bottom.

Thanks Picachu for your time in calculating the scores. It will make the competition more enjoyable I think.

I am near the bottom of the list after week one, but that's okay. That's exactly where I want to be at this time. It's part of my strategy. lol No, really. ;)

This week Hollywood Glam got their gymnastics on and leapt over A.G.E. Dream and Two Left Feet to nab the top spot on the leaderboard! A.G.E Dream isn’t too far behind, taking second place. Two Left Feet stumbled a bit, dropping several spaces. Paddle Pleasers moved up to third place, paddling Lift Police Begone down a few spaces. No Messing About got to business and moved up to fourth place, once again sharing that spot with Pika-Cha-Cha-Chu. We’re Siamese twins because we have the same stars on our teams and the same superstar couple! Flat Feet and Paso Doooooble kept the same order they had last week. Hollywood Glam was lucky that Paso Dooooble had Helio and Chelsie on their team or else Paso Doooooble would have beat them out of first place. They’re the only team to have Shawn and Derek as their captains and that brought them a lot of points! Losing points from Helio, though, took a hit on their total points. How ‘Bout Them Cowboys escaped from next to last place and moved up a few spaces, jumping over Lightfoot who they had been behind last week. Cream Pumps kept their position and Mreid1472, joining the pool late, landed on the leaderboard in last place.

There was a three-way tie for highest weekly score, with No Messing About, Paddle Pleasers, and Pika-Cha-Cha-Chu each earning 222.5 points.

Cream Pumps had the lowest weekly score, with 199 points.

May I get some extra points by correctly naming the two going home last night to my Weekly total? (See my post on the 10/8 Performance Thread.) LOL I'm kidding! :winkgrin
