Love how careful Melissa is being with her comments. Maks as well.

Well, it's a foregone conclusion who they want in the final 2 anyway, so it's not like Melissa had a chance. They'll turn on Roshon and Jaleel, and Donald, too. Unless she had one of the producer's pet pros and not someone that doesn't a** kiss the judges.

Bruno's being nice -- Melissa looked (once again) like she was hanging on for dear life. The technical aspects weren't as bad as CA is saying (she feels the need to shoot Maks down of course), but Melissa still can't get outside her own head and fear.

Yes, I agree that Melissa seemed to be allowing herself to be clumsily dragged. And also I agree that CarrieAnn WON'T give Maks a heartfelt compliment. I noticed the same thing with Melissa's performance tonight as during her last slow dance... she doesn't carry her head with very much poise.

Perhaps it's due to her previous spine surgery, which she mentioned. I dunno the cause, but the result is that it just doesn't look that nice.

I also think the tricks themselves weren't designed that well. They were awkward movements to execute, and I think the female pros would've looked just as awkward doing them as Melissa did.

I totally agreed with the judges about Melissa and Maks' dance. The lifts were extremely awkward. It doesn't matter if they felt alright to Melissa, they didn't look right. I don't know if the execution of them was off or if the lifts themselves were staged awkwardly but it was bad. Especially cringe-worthy was the one where Melissa was on the ground, Maks flipped her up, exposing her underwear, and she emerged from her flipped-over skirt with a disco point. They should have left that move out of the routine. I doubt even a pro female dancer could have made it work!

Yeah, like with every other injury on the show, they always say, "Oh well, I have to give it to you guys for trying with you hurt whatever"...but Maks? He really gets no love. And like I said earlier, I'm not even his biggest fan! (Though I do think he is extremely sexy )
