Maria's answer to Brooke indicates that they had a rough week but she's refusing to discuss it.

After the score reveal, Maria discloses to Derek that she thinks she just broke her foot. Uh-oh.

Hmmm, the intro footage of Derek was pretty negative tonight...
I'm guessing Derek/Maria are tromping the other couples in terms of votes. So perhaps the producers are trying to shift sentiment away from Derek a little. Also, they aired the negative footage BEFORE the commercial, instead of before the dance itself, which gives viewers a few minutes to wonder and think about how "mean" Derek was to Maria...

I'm just glad someone else is getting a mean pro edit besides Maks.

How adorable is Maria? Doing belly bumps with Derek to celebrate. Now that she's dropped the whole "I'm Greek" and annoying laugh thing, she has risen to my favorite female celeb. I'm hoping she completely dethrones Katherine and winds up in the finale.

I've always thought that Maria was slightly better than Katherine. I don't know if it is just cause Derek is an amazing choreographer or what, but I've always slightly preferred her to Katherine.... (as much as he annoys me at times, no denying the boy is one of the best!). Does that mean I want to see him walk away with his 4th trophy?! Nope, but would I like to see them in the F3? Yes.

CA "Katherine has been in the lead for the girls but she better watch it because you are coming....." blah blah....you know what? She has not been in the lead in my mind! I felt that other women were dancing as well but the judges refused to acknowledge it.

Exactly! I absolutely love Maria. My ideal final 3 would be Maria, Donald, and Melissa. I think Katherine has only been in the lead in the judges mind and the producers hope we drink the kool aid.

And an injury?! Maria, girl, what's happening to you?
