I know nothing about DD, what is his back story?

It could be the bust up wasn't as bad as the media said. Did they show or mention anything about it? Until the show acknowledges it in some way (maybe they didn't want to ruin the feel good story week), I'll wonder how much might have been exaggerrated. I think it's horrible for Jaleel to have done that, but just as bad for the show to let it be out there if it wasn't as bad as the articles say, especially if they aren't going to acknowledge it (though I'm betting it comes next week).

Hopefully the judges comments actually match the scores for Donald tonight.

9-8-9. Considering the other scores tonight that's fair, because while his story is completely moving, the dance wasn't spectacular.

You know, now that we've seen all of the dances, I still have to say that while they were good, none of them came close to being as emotional as J.R.'s salute to those who never made it back. That was something else.

And CA says she's not counting lifts tonight? Then she should NEVER count them for the rest of the season, period.

Either that or one of the couples she dings for a lift down the road should call her out. Though I'm sure enough people will do so on twitter when the time comes.

As much as I loved the premiere and looked forward to this season before it started, it's leaving me underwhelmed by all the overscoring and overpraising.

I could feel that Cuban weather in William and Cheryl's dance! They, both, looked terrific! Those Latin men.....!!

IMO, DD was underscored or Urkel was overscored because I thought DD was much better. Then again, I a very biased fan when it comes to DD.

Anyway, thanks for the recap everyone. I only watched DD perform but I will try to watch the others later.

Very much a rags to riches story... Him deciding at a
Young age to turn away from the street life and making
Himself now the top receiver in Green Bay Packer history.
He doed alot of of charity work with
Homeless shelters.

Just read about the argument between Kim and Jaleel, this explains his low scoring tonight...had nothing to do with his dancing. I gave him all my votes except one, it went to Roshon, because he did an MJ tribute.
