11/22 Finale Show Discussion *West Coast Spoilers*

Me, neither. I've really taken a shine to her this season.

Who'da thunk it? There actually WAS a soft, likeable human-girl-type-being in there, somewhere!

Win or lose, I'm happy for her, 'cause she really has opened up like a blooming flower this season.

I think it even started a little last season with Ralph--but J.R. really has brought it out in her. I even sort of liked that she was teary in the clip yesterday when she couldn't get the lift right and J.R. reassured her. I bet they stay friends.

The results show really could be an hour.

When Tom said the show started ten weeks ago. I was surprised. Seems like this season has lasted a lot longer than that.

I know. Usually I'm depressed at the finale. But not this time.

Repeat dance time. Ricki's going first. I like how Tom says 'we'll see if she can beat that...by a point' referring to her near perfect 30 for her Psycho tango.

Originally I heard the judges were ranking the dances, but I don't think I heard Tom say that

They should have saved this for Halloween week. It would have beat any of the other Halloween dances.

You know, I kinda wish R/D would have done the Psycho tango without all the special effects this time around. I'd like to have seen it a little more clearly, and I find the scrim and red lights a little distracting.

I'm not going to remember a lot about the dances this season, but that's one that will definitely stand out.

So they are scoring, not ranking, after all. Judges loved it, I'm guessing a perfect 30.

ITA--there are a lot of songs from movies that could be used for a tango. There weren't that many great scary songs. They should have saved it for Halloween week.

I think that was one of Ricki's better dances, but the only repeat dance I'm all that interested in seeing is J.R.'s, just to see if Karina changed things around to suit Len or not. I suspect she probably will, but I don't know. Since I know basically what the other dances will look like, I'm more curious about the jive.

I kind of liked when they used to do a "redemption" dance where they chose a dance they didn't do so well on earlier and showed how they could improve upon it, because that showed what everyone had learned over the course of the season.

Halloween week could have been great...although I think the song choices left a lot to be desired. It would have been great to have them dance to one of the greatest and most memorable horror movies ever on that night.

Rob/Cheryl up next, dancing his foxtrot from story theme week. No scores for Ricki yet-are they ranking after all?

I really hope Karina doesn't change anything. It was great the first time around, leave it as is (which I also thought they couldn't change anything- I might be wrong).
